This is oftentimes the most tedious thing if you aren’t familiar with technology. However, we encourage everyone to submit a 90-second video pitch describing your business or product, traction, and any ask that you may have.
Pre-Recorded Pitch Instructions
If you already have a recorded pitch you’d like to submit…Great! The easiest way to get the video over to us is through YouTube. Just simply log on to YouTube and click on the video recorder in the top right corner that says “Create” to upload your wow pitch! You will be uploading your file to YouTube and making it unlisted. Then sharing the link with us below, in the designated field. Make sure it’s set to unlisted and not private as that will prevent us from seeing it.
Here’s a great video explaining how to upload unlisted videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOr7JluzEOM.
New Pitch Instructions
If you do not have a pitch already recorded, not a problem! Put on your best smile and record one today! You can use your desktop or mobile device that has video recording capabilities. After you’ve completed recording, head over to YouTube and follow the pre-recorded pitch instructions above. Make sure to change the permissions to unlisted and not private. Private will prevent us from viewing your fantastic pitch. Then copy and paste the link to the video below.
*Note some devices don’t allow you to record video and display a presentation at the same time. If you would like to record with your pitch deck presentation displaying as well, we recommend recording your pitch using Zoom. (This is also the method we will use during the Women’s Fast Pitch Finals. It’s a great opportunity to get practice). That way you can present your presentation and record your video. Export it to your desktop and then follow the “Pre-Recorded Pitch Instructions” above to upload your video. That’s it! Happy Recording!
